The Technology & Information Exchange (TIE) Core, also known as the Domestic Response Core, applies HIV prevention research to practice and helps integrate community experience into HIV prevention science using the following strategies:

- Community Advisory Board
- CAPS Conference
- Manuals and reports
- Community Town Halls
Consultation
We provide consultations on topics such as these:
- Creating a website for one’s research project
- Coming up with a dissemination plan for one’s project
- Presenting one’s research at community agencies and events
- Including grant language for dissemination and community involvement
- Collaborating with community-based agencies
- Providing technical assistance through the TA Working Group
- Planning for recruitment
- Presenting one’s research to the Community Advisory Board
