Mimi Wolff

Mimi Wolff is the Program Manager of the Training Program for Scientists Conducting Research to Reduce HIV/STI Health Disparities project at the Center for AIDS Prevention Studies at UCSF. Ms. Wolff has a Master of Social Work from the University of Washington and worked for several years in the Seattle area as a hospital medical and psychiatric social worker. Ms. Wolff has over 15 years experience as a social science research and training evaluator and project manager at the University of California. The range of research studies she has managed include projects on the doctor-patient relationship, the effectiveness of evaluation modalities to assess high-risk behaviors in primary care patients, marital conflict and adolescent health and well-being, conflict resolution in early care and education (ECE) facilities, health and safety in ECE facilities, an epidemiological study investigating environmental and genetic causes of childhood leukemia, and relationship dynamics and condom use among Latino adolescent couples. Ms. Wolff is co-author on a number of articles in peer reviewed journals.

Ms. Wolff’s current responsibilities include strategic planning and program evaluation, overseeing the program’s budgets, managing the program grants, heading up the development and maintenance of the program specific, interactive social networking website, providing direct support to the core program faculty and overseeing the operations of the training program.
