Ms. Roos coordinates planning for the Center’s scientific and administrative meetings, scientific retreats, strategic planning sessions and scientific conferences. She coordinates the preparation of the scientific portions of the non-competing and competing continuation applications. She tracks information on CAPS activities for the purposes of documentation, dissemination, and assuring effective communications within the Center. She is the Center’s archivist, providing the institutional memory and documentation for the history of CAPS. She is a member of the team that is developing the monitoring and evaluation plan so the Executive Committee is provided with timely data to evaluate the progress of the cores and the Center as a whole in achieving their aims. Ms. Roos is responsible for space allocation. She coordinates the CAPS, ARI and AETC Information Technology Users Group meetings.
Ms. Roos coordinates the weekly Town Hall series of noon hour scientific presentations by CAPS faculty, ARI and visiting scientists.
