UCSF hosts national health reform meeting
Dr. Bernie Lo will moderate a meeting on health care reform sponsored by the Institute of Medicine (IOM). “National Health Reform: New Responsibilities for Scientists, Clinicians and Policy Makers,” will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Byers Auditorium in Genentech Hall on the UCSF Mission Bay campus. TAPS program accepting applications
The deadline for applying to the Traineeship in AIDS Prevention Studies (TAPS) postdoctoral fellowship program is December 1, 2009.
Over the last 20 years, TAPS has graduated more than 81 scientists who now work in leadership positions in a wide variety of institutions, including the CDC, international public health organizations, local health departments and universities. [more...]
